Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging history lessons that cater to diverse learning levels. Prepare interactive classroom activities, discussions, and assessments to reinforce key concepts. Maintain organized lesson plans, notes, and student records to ensure smooth academic progression. Collaborate with students to encourage curiosity and deepen their understanding of historical events and themes.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update syllabus materials, textbooks, and supplementary resources to reflect contemporary historical research. Attend regular faculty meetings and workshops to stay updated on teaching methodologies and curriculum changes. Supervise student projects, research papers, and field visits related to history to enhance practical learning experiences. Provide constructive feedback to students on assignments, exams, and overall academic performance.
Periodic Responsibilities
Coordinate with senior faculty to ensure consistency in teaching standards and assessment practices. Organize guest lectures, seminars, or cultural events featuring historians or scholars to enrich student exposure. Participate in school-level evaluations and reviews to assess teaching effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in History with a specialization in relevant fields. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree to qualify for the role. Experience in teaching at the secondary or higher secondary level is essential, with at least two years of teaching history. A TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, along with benefits. The position is based in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in a vibrant academic setting dedicated to fostering historical knowledge and critical analysis.
