Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:
Plan and conduct biology lessons aligned with Rajasthan’s curriculum, ensuring engaging and interactive sessions.
Develop and manage lab experiments, including safety protocols, to enhance practical learning.
Assist in organizing science fairs, workshops, and extracurricular biology activities for students.
Collaborate with the biology department to update teaching resources and lab equipment.
Monitor student progress in biology, provide feedback, and recommend improvements.
Prepare and grade assignments, projects, and exams to assess understanding.
Participate in school events like science exhibitions and inter-house competitions.
Maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning environment in the biology classroom.
Stay updated on new educational trends and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
To qualify, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Biology. Three years of teaching experience in a school setting is preferred. A valid TET/CTET certificate is a plus. Familiarity with Rajasthan’s school curriculum and experience in biology labs is highly valued.
Key skills include:
Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex biology concepts clearly.
Strong subject knowledge in biology, including cell biology, genetics, and ecology.
Ability to design creative lesson plans and assessments.
Proficient use of educational technology for virtual and hybrid teaching methods.
