PGT Tamil Teacher Job in Coimbatore North
This role is for a qualified Tamil teacher to join Cs Academy in Coimbatore North as a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) for Tamil. The position focuses on delivering advanced language instruction at the secondary level, ensuring students grasp literary, grammatical, and cultural aspects of the subject. The school values expertise in Tamil literature, grammar, and modern language pedagogy, especially for students preparing for board exams.
You will plan and conduct daily Tamil classes, covering syllabus topics such as prose, poetry, grammar, and composition. Your responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assessing student performance, and engaging in interactive teaching methods to enhance comprehension. You may also assist in organizing cultural events, workshops, or competitions related to Tamil literature.
To qualify, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Tamil. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, having these certifications will strengthen your application. A strong command of Tamil language, literature, and teaching experience is essential.
For this role, three years of teaching experience in Tamil at the secondary level is preferred. Experience in shaping student understanding of classical and contemporary Tamil literature, as well as handling diverse learning needs, will be highly valued. Familiarity with modern teaching tools and assessment techniques is also beneficial.
