Assess student performance through regular exams, projects, and practical evaluations, ensuring fair and standardized grading. Collaborate with the science department to integrate interdisciplinary learning, such as connecting zoology with environmental science or biotechnology. Maintain updated teaching resources, including lab equipment and digital tools, to support innovative instruction.
Hold parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and address academic challenges. Participate in school events, including science fairs and workshops, to promote interest in biological sciences among students. Ensure compliance with school policies regarding attendance, discipline, and professional conduct.
Hold a postgraduate degree in Zoology with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of relevant teaching experience at the postgraduate or senior secondary level is required. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, a valid teaching certificate is preferred. Salary for this position is Rs.35,000 to Rs.60,000 per month, with the role based in Madukkari, Coimbatore.
