Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality History lessons to pupils in grades 9-12.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments.
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences and communicate with parents about student performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve academic and extracurricular objectives.
- Develop and implement engaging History teaching materials and resources.
- Participate in school events, such as History fairs and festivals.
- Provide individualized support to students with varying learning needs.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment in the classroom.
Eligibility Criteria
- Hold a postgraduate degree in History (MA or MSc) from a recognized university.
- Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
- Have a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in History at the postgraduate level.
- Be well-versed in History curriculum and pedagogy.
Essential Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong content knowledge in History.
- Ability to design engaging lessons and assessments.
- Familiarity with technology integration in the classroom.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Rs.45,000 - Rs.55,000 per month.
- Additional benefits, including medical insurance and leave entitlement, as per school policy.
