Role Summary
We require an experienced and dedicated PRT English Teacher to join our faculty at St.peter International Public School - Kundarapalli in Krishnagiri, Tamilnadu. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students from Class I to Class X, as well as contributing to the development of our department's curriculum and pedagogy.
What You Will Do
- Plan, deliver, and assess English lessons to students from Class I to Class X, using a range of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and needs.
- Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans, aligned with the CBSE curriculum and the school's educational philosophy.
- Use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning, including the use of digital resources, online platforms, and multimedia materials.
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues, using a range of assessment strategies and tools.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of our department's curriculum and pedagogy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver co-curricular activities and events, such as English competitions, literary festivals, and drama performances.
- Contribute to the school's community service programs, such as literacy drives, book fairs, and language support initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results, using our school's management information system.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or department head, in support of the school's mission and objectives.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a strong academic background in English, with a minimum of a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. from a recognized institution. A CTET or TET certification is preferred but not essential. You should have at least one year of teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE school. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students, are essential for this role.
Salary and Benefits
