What you will do:
Plan and deliver engaging Tamil language lessons aligned with NTT syllabus.
Assist in creating teaching materials and resources for Tamil grammar, vocabulary, and literature.
Monitor student progress in Tamil proficiency through regular assessments.
Collaborate with other teachers to integrate Tamil across different subjects.
Participate in school events and cultural activities that promote Tamil heritage.
Provide feedback to students on their writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages language learning.
Attend professional development workshops related to Tamil pedagogy.
Support administrative tasks like maintaining records and organizing Tamil-related events.
What you need:
A graduate degree in Tamil or a related field.
Minimum five years of teaching experience, preferably in Tamil or bilingual schools.
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification preferred for formal school teaching roles.
Strong command of Tamil language, both spoken and written, with fluency in regional dialects.
Experience in teaching children aged 6 to 12 years preferred.
Skills that matter:
Effective communication skills in Tamil and English to facilitate classroom instruction.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student learning needs.
Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and resource management.
