Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

- Organize and lead weekly choir or instrumental groups for performances.
- Assess student progress through simple projects and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with senior teachers to integrate music with other subjects during thematic weeks.
- Maintain inventory of instruments and ensure safe handling.
- Participate in parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student achievements in music.
What You Need to Start
- A graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Music Education.
- TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good knowledge of Indian classical, folk and contemporary music forms.
- Ability to communicate clearly in Tamil and English.
