Position summary
Ksr Schools in Tiruchengode, Namakkal, Tamilnadu is hiring a full‑time TGT Tamil Teacher. The role involves delivering the Tamil curriculum to secondary classes, fostering language proficiency and cultural appreciation among students.
Reporting and scope
The teacher will report to the Head of Department for Languages.
Core duties
Plan and conduct Tamil lessons for Classes IX and X in accordance with the state syllabus, using interactive methods and appropriate teaching aids.
Assess student performance through periodic tests, projects and oral examinations, providing constructive feedback and remedial support where needed.
Prepare and maintain lesson plans, teaching materials and classroom displays that reflect Tamil literature, grammar and contemporary usage.
Participate in departmental meetings, school functions and parent‑teacher interactions to discuss student progress and curriculum enhancements.
Uphold school discipline, attend staff development programmes and contribute to co‑curricular activities related to Tamil culture.
Qualification and experience
Post‑graduate degree in Tamil or related field with B.Ed/D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting. Preference for candidates who have cleared TET/CTET, though it is not mandatory.
Compensation and location
Salary: Rs.18,000 - Rs.30,000 per month.
