PGT Economics Teacher Position at Treasure Iland International School
Treasure Iland International School in Shenkottai, Tenkasi, seeks a dedicated PGT Economics Teacher to join their faculty. This role involves shaping young minds with a strong foundation in economics, blending theory with real-world applications. You’ll design engaging lessons, guide students through macro and microeconomic principles, and help them develop analytical skills for future careers.
The work includes lesson planning, classroom instruction, and assessing student progress. Your expertise in economic theories, trade policies, and global markets will be key. You’ll also participate in curriculum development and support extracurricular activities related to economics.
To qualify, you must hold a postgraduate degree in Economics along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in economics or a related field, is required.
