Your responsibilities
Prepare weekly lesson plans that integrate digital quizzes and online worksheets. Organize monthly cultural assemblies where students perform Tamil skits and songs. Monitor student progress through cloud-based portfolios updated every fortnight. Conduct remedial sessions using Tamil learning apps for weaker students. Collaborate with other subject teachers to design Tamil-medium projects. Maintain a digital attendance and grade register accessible to parents. Organize field trips to historic sites around Tiruchirappalli to reinforce classroom learning.
Qualifications and digital literacy requirements
Postgraduate degree in Tamil with B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized university. Minimum two years of Tamil teaching experience in a matriculation or CBSE school. Basic certification in computer applications is essential. Familiarity with Google Classroom, Kahoot, and Canva preferred.
Skills for the modern classroom
