Your Students
Our students in Tiruneveli are bright, curious, and eager to learn. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives to the classroom. As a TGT Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students in grades 6-10. You will need to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and provide individualized support to ensure every student succeeds.

Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver Social Science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students
- Develop and implement assessments to measure student progress and understanding
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra help or guidance
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote social and emotional learning
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in Social Science education

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree in Social Science or a related field. A post-graduate degree in Social Science or a related field is preferred. You should also have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Social Science. A good understanding of the Tamil Nadu state syllabus and the ability to teach in English and Tamil is essential.

Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs.24,000 - Rs.45,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
