Seeking a dedicated Mathematics teacher for Sri R.m.jain Vidhyashram in Tiruvallur
Sri R.m.jain Vidhyashram invites a skilled Mathematics teacher to join their team, where students in the National Talent Search (NTT) program will benefit from engaging, innovative teaching. This role focuses on nurturing mathematical talent while aligning with the school’s academic excellence. The selected candidate will play a key role in shaping young minds through interactive lessons and mentorship.
Daily responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging daily mathematics lessons tailored to NTT students, ensuring concepts are explained clearly and practically. Prepare interactive activities, puzzles, and real-world applications to enhance problem-solving skills. Monitor student progress during class to address any difficulties promptly. Maintain organized classroom materials, including worksheets, visual aids, and reference books.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
Develop and review lesson plans that incorporate modern teaching methods, such as group discussions and digital tools. Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate mathematics into interdisciplinary projects. Participate in weekly progress reviews to assess student performance and adjust teaching strategies as needed. Ensure all students meet the NTT curriculum standards and prepare them for competitive exams.
Periodic responsibilities
Attend termly evaluation meetings to discuss student performance and curriculum adjustments. Conduct periodic assessments to gauge understanding and provide constructive feedback. Participate in school-wide workshops or training sessions to stay updated on best practices in mathematics education.
Qualification and experience
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field with at least two years of teaching experience. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. A valid TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and a passion for nurturing young talent are essential.
Salary and location
The successful candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.14,000 to Rs.22,000. The role is based in Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, with the opportunity to contribute to a supportive and dynamic educational environment.
