PGT History Teacher – Sri R.m. Jain Matriculation School, Tiruvallur
Responsibilities
Design and deliver the History curriculum for Classes IX‑XII, incorporating interactive methods and local context. Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with state board standards. Conduct periodic parent‑teacher meetings and support co‑curricular activities related to heritage and culture.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in History with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the PGT level. Preference given to candidates who have cleared TET/CTET, though not mandatory.
Experience
At least 2 years of full‑time teaching experience in a school setting, demonstrating effective classroom management and ability to inspire interest in historical studies among adolescents.
Employment Terms
Full‑time position with a monthly salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000. Fixed working hours as per school timetable, including duties for examinations and extracurricular events.
