PRT Computer Science Teacher Position at Sri R.M. Jain Matriculation School
Sri R.M. Jain Matriculation School in Tiruvallur seeks a dedicated PRT (Post Graduate Teacher) in Computer Science to guide students through foundational programming concepts and digital literacy. This role involves teaching basic coding languages, problem-solving techniques, and hands-on computer applications in a structured curriculum. The teacher will also assist in lab-based learning, ensuring students develop practical skills in software development and IT fundamentals.
The primary responsibilities include delivering classroom instruction, preparing lesson plans aligned with syllabi, and assessing student performance through projects and assignments. Collaboration with senior faculty and administrative support will be essential for curriculum development and student mentorship. The teacher will also participate in extracurricular activities related to technology, such as coding clubs or workshops.
To qualify, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Two years of teaching experience in Computer Science or a relevant subject is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.14,000 to Rs.22,000 per month, along with the opportunity to work in a well-equipped school environment in Tiruvallur.
