Job Description
Responsibilities
The TGT Chemistry Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking among students.
Prepare detailed lesson plans, laboratory experiments, and assessment materials aligned with the school’s academic objectives.
Supervise laboratory safety, manage inventory of chemicals, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Mentor and guide students in project work, science fairs, and competitive examinations related to chemistry.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects and support school-wide science initiatives.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc. or equivalent) is mandatory.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required for teaching eligibility.
TET or CTET certification is preferred but not compulsory for this role.
Experience
Minimum of two years of teaching experience in a school environment, with a proven track record in delivering chemistry instruction.
Experience in laboratory management and student mentorship is highly valued.
Salary
Competitive salary ranging from Rs.18,000 to Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
