You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a blended learning environment that incorporates online and offline learning resources.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach English to students in grades 9-12
- Design and develop lesson plans that integrate technology to enhance student learning
- Utilize smart boards and other digital tools to create engaging lessons
- Create and maintain a blended learning environment that incorporates online and offline learning resources
- Assess student progress and provide feedback using technology tools
- Communicate with parents and colleagues using digital means
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated on best practices in English teaching
- Develop and implement assessments to measure student learning
- Manage classroom technology, including smart boards and laptops
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide English programs
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must have a post-graduate degree in English or a related field, and a valid B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. qualification. You must also have a minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching English in a school setting. Experience with digital tools and technology integration is highly desirable.
