The PGT Mathematics Teacher will design and deliver engaging curriculum aligned with CBSE/State Board standards. The role includes preparing detailed syllabi, conducting interactive classes, and assessing student progress through exams, quizzes, and project-based learning. Collaboration with the mathematics department and cross-subject coordination will enhance curriculum coherence. Additionally, you will mentor junior teachers, participate in departmental meetings, and contribute to extracurricular math clubs or competitions to boost student engagement.
A postgraduate degree in Mathematics with a strong academic background is essential. Two years of teaching experience, preferably in high school or equivalent, will be highly beneficial. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset. A teaching degree like B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required, and a passion for modern pedagogies will be a plus. Fluency in English and a proactive approach to curriculum innovation are key.
