Leadership expectations and curriculum ownership
- Design and implement a progressive psychology curriculum aligned with Telangana state standards.
- Mentor junior teachers and coordinate interdisciplinary projects.
- Lead the school’s psychology club, fostering student engagement and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate psychological insights into school-wide initiatives.
Core responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons to classes 9 to 12, using varied pedagogical techniques.
- Prepare and grade assessments, ensuring fair and transparent evaluation.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions as required.
- Develop and maintain detailed lesson plans and student progress reports.
- Organize workshops for parents on child development and mental health.
- Participate in curriculum review committees and suggest evidence‑based updates.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Keep abreast of latest research in psychology and incorporate findings into teaching.
What you bring to the table
B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory, with a postgraduate degree in Psychology. Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably in a secondary school setting. Strong command of classroom management and curriculum design. Ability to inspire students and collaborate with peers.

Compensation and benefits
Rs.35,000 – Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
