Pedagogy and Tools
Teaching will include hands-on lab sessions using Python, Scratch, and basic web development tools to reinforce theoretical concepts. Regular use of digital platforms like Google Classroom and interactive coding platforms will support flipped learning and self-paced study.
Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare and deliver daily Computer Science lessons covering programming fundamentals, data structures, and computer systems for middle school students. Conduct practical lab sessions every week to strengthen coding skills and debugging techniques among learners. Assess student progress through periodic tests, projects, and participation in coding competitions.
Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student attendance, and assessment scores for school audits. Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate computational thinking across disciplines. Organize after-school coding clubs or workshops to nurture interest in technology beyond regular hours.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field with B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution is mandatory. Candidates with TET or CTET certification will be given preference during selection. Minimum two years of teaching experience in Computer Science at the secondary level is required.
