Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sr University, Warangal, is a well-established research-oriented department with strong reputation for excellence in Cloud Computing research. We are looking for a highly motivated and research-oriented ASSISTANT PROFESSOR to join our faculty team.
What You Will Do
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Cloud Computing at Sr University, you will be responsible for:
- Teaching Cloud Computing courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Conducting research in Cloud Computing and publishing high-impact research papers
- Supervising Ph.D. students in Cloud Computing area
- Collaborating with faculty members to develop academic projects and secure funding
- Evaluating and guiding Ph.D. theses in Cloud Computing area
- Mentoring and guiding postgraduate students
- Participating in academic and administrative activities of the department
- Developing and maintaining a strong research profile in Cloud Computing area
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Cloud Computing or related area is mandatory
- Post-doc experience in Cloud Computing area is preferred
- UGC-NET with JRF or UGC-NET without JRF is mandatory for Assistant Professor position
- Strong research background in Cloud Computing area with publications in high-impact journals and conferences
Academic Projects
We encourage collaborative research projects and collaborations with industry partners. We also provide funding opportunities for research projects. We expect our faculty members to publish research papers in high-impact journals and conferences.
Doctoral Guidance
As an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, you will be expected to guide doctoral students in Cloud Computing area. You will be responsible for evaluating and guiding Ph.D. theses in Cloud Computing area.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Rs.30,000 - Rs.45,000 per month, as per UGC norms. We also provide research grants to support research activities.
