Develop and revise laboratory experiments using MATLAB, Python, and real-time DSP kits available in the Signal Processing Lab. Mentor final-year B.Tech projects and M.Tech dissertations aligned with ongoing funded research in the department.
Lead or co-lead research in areas such as adaptive filtering, biomedical signal enhancement, or IoT sensor signal processing, aiming for publications in SCI-indexed journals and presentations at national conferences. Contribute to collaborative projects with CSIR-CEERI, DRDO Labs, and local startups incubated at Sr University’s technology park. Assist in organizing short-term courses and workshops under the Continuing Education Program to engage industry professionals.
Maintain active memberships in professional bodies like IEEE Signal Processing Society and contribute to curriculum design for the revised UG and PG programs starting next academic year. Support student teams participating in national competitions such as Texas Instruments India Analog Design Contest and Embedded Systems Hackathons.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering with specialization in Signal Processing is mandatory for this ASSISTANT PROFESSOR Signal Processing Vacancy in Warangal. Candidates holding a post-doctoral fellowship or industry R&D experience of at least one year in signal processing will be given preference.
