Role Summary
Sr University invites applications for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR - Power Systems in its Electrical Engineering Department. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Power Systems.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Power Systems courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students at Sr University.
- Develop and deliver curriculum for Power Systems courses.
- Conduct tutorials and practical sessions for students.
- Guide students in their project work and research projects.
- Participate in departmental and institutional activities.
- Maintain a conducive teaching-learning environment.
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning experience.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to promote interdisciplinary research.
PG Class Profile
- Teach master level courses such as Power Systems Analysis, Power System Relaying, and Power System Protection.
- Guide students in their project work and research projects in Power Systems.
- Supervise students in their M.Tech/M.E. thesis work in Power Systems.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET/SLET qualification is mandatory for candidates who do not have a Ph.D.
- Publication of research papers in peer-reviewed journals is essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Salary and Benefits
- Salary: Rs.30,000 - Rs.45,000 per month.
