Role Summary
Sr University, a leading institution in the field of computer science, is seeking a PROFESSOR to join its esteemed faculty in Algorithms in Hasanparthy, Warangal, Telangana. Our department is renowned for its research excellence and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Algorithms, including data structures, graph theory, and computational complexity.
- Conduct research in Algorithms and related areas, publish papers in top-tier conferences and journals, and collaborate with colleagues from other departments.
- Supervise Ph.D. students and guide them in their research projects.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities of the department, including curriculum development and committee work.
- Develop and manage projects related to Algorithms, including securing research grants and funding.
- Engage in outreach and extension activities, such as organizing workshops, conferences, and seminars.
- Collaborate with industry partners and researchers to promote interdisciplinary research and innovation.
- Contribute to the development of the department's research agenda and strategic plan.
Required Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is mandatory for the position of PROFESSOR. A post-doc experience is preferred. Candidates who have completed their Ph.D. and have a UGC-NET with JRF are eligible to apply. UGC norms will apply to the recruitment process.
Academic Projects
- Collaborate with colleagues from other departments to develop and manage projects related to Algorithms, including securing research grants and funding.
- Publish papers in top-tier conferences and journals, and present research papers at international conferences.
- Supervise Ph.D. students and guide them in their research projects.
- Engage in outreach and extension activities, such as organizing workshops, conferences, and seminars.
Research Leadership
- Guide doctoral students in their research projects, including providing guidance on research design, methodology, and writing.
- Evaluate Ph.D. theses and provide feedback to students.

Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs.70,000 - Rs.120,000 per month, as per UGC norms. The university also offers research grants and funding opportunities to support the candidate's research projects.
