- Conduct research in Power Systems, publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals.
- Mentor and guide faculty members in research and academic activities.
- Participate in academic administration, committee work, and departmental meetings.
- Collaborate with other departments on interdisciplinary projects and research initiatives.
- Maintain a high level of teaching and research productivity, as per UGC guidelines.
Master Level Teaching
- Teach master level courses in Power Systems, including Power Generation, Transmission, and Distribution.
- Guide postgraduate students in research projects, ensuring timely completion and high quality.
- Develop and implement projects, internships, and field studies for postgraduate students.
- Collaborate with industry partners on research projects, ensuring practical application of knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field with at least 55% marks.
- UGC-NET or SLET qualification, if PhD not completed.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals, with a minimum of three papers.
- Proven teaching and research experience, with at least five years of experience as an Assistant Professor or equivalent.
Learning and Development
- Maintain an API score of 3.0 or above, as per UGC norms, for promotion and career advancement.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development, attending conferences, workshops, and training programs.
- Participate in faculty development programs, ensuring enhancement of teaching and research skills.
