PGT Mathematics Teacher Position at Pathshala Coaching Center, Sadar, West Tripura
Pathshala Coaching Center in Sadar, West Tripura, seeks a dedicated PGT Mathematics Teacher to lead high-quality mathematics instruction across senior secondary levels. This role involves shaping students’ analytical skills and fostering a strong foundation in mathematical concepts, aligning with the school’s focus on academic excellence. The successful candidate will contribute to a supportive learning environment while ensuring rigorous adherence to curriculum standards.
Daily Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging classroom lessons, ensuring clear explanations of algebraic, trigonometric, and calculus concepts. Prepare daily lesson plans with interactive activities to boost student participation. Monitor individual student progress in problem-solving and application of mathematical theories. Maintain organized classroom resources, including textbooks, worksheets, and digital tools, to support teaching.
Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and assess periodic tests, quizzes, and projects to evaluate students’ understanding of advanced topics. Collaborate with the mathematics faculty to refine teaching strategies and share best practices. Participate in weekly faculty meetings to discuss curriculum updates and student performance trends. Provide timely feedback to students on assignments and exams to reinforce learning.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend term-end evaluations to assess overall student performance and suggest improvements in teaching methods. Organize guest lectures or workshops with subject experts to enhance students’ exposure to real-world applications of mathematics. Ensure compliance with school policies on attendance, discipline, and academic integrity during examinations.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field with at least four years of teaching experience at the secondary or senior secondary level. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this role. Experience in shaping young minds through structured yet innovative teaching methods is highly valued. Familiarity with Tripura’s curriculum and examination patterns is a plus.
Salary and Location
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month, along with a conducive work environment in Sadar, West Tripura. The position is full-time, with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the institution’s academic growth.
