Pprt EVS Teacher Position at Pathshala Coaching Center in West Tripura
Teaching Environmental Studies (EVS) at the primary level in West Tripura’s Sadar district, this role involves shaping young minds with hands-on, curriculum-aligned lessons. Pathshala Coaching Center invites a dedicated educator to strengthen environmental awareness through engaging, experiential learning methods.
You will design and deliver EVS lessons that align with Tripura’s school curriculum, focusing on topics like biodiversity, climate change, and sustainable practices. Daily classroom instruction will include interactive activities, field trips, and project-based learning to foster critical thinking. Assess student understanding through practical assessments, quizzes, and group discussions, ensuring progress meets academic benchmarks. Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate EVS themes across subjects, promoting holistic development. Maintain organized lesson plans, teaching aids, and student records while adapting content to diverse learning levels. Participate in school-wide events like science fairs, tree-planting drives, and awareness campaigns to extend EVS learning beyond the classroom. Ensure compliance with Tripura’s EVS syllabus and adhere to teaching standards set by the state education board. Support administrative tasks such as preparing EVS teaching materials, organizing workshops for teachers, and assisting in school events related to environmental themes. Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to explore and protect the environment.
To apply, hold a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification, and three years of teaching experience in EVS or a related subject. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. This full-time position offers a monthly salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.25,000, with the role based in Sadar, West Tripura.
