PRT English Teacher Position at Pathshala Coaching Center in West Tripura
Pathshala Coaching Center in Sadar, West Tripura, seeks a dedicated PRT English Teacher to inspire young learners with a strong foundation in the language. This role is ideal for someone passionate about shaping the next generation’s communication skills through engaging classroom experiences.
The PRT English Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students in the primary section. Daily lesson planning will focus on vocabulary development, grammar, reading comprehension, and creative writing, tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of the class. You will create interactive and culturally relevant activities to enhance student participation, such as storytelling sessions, debates, and language games. Assessing student progress through continuous evaluation—including oral presentations, writing assignments, and quizzes—will be a key part of your role. Collaboration with fellow teachers to align curriculum standards with Pathshala’s academic goals will also be essential. Maintaining a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels encouraged to explore their linguistic potential is crucial. You will also assist in organizing extracurricular events like poetry recitals, English competitions, and cultural exchanges to foster a love for the language beyond the classroom.
To qualify, a graduate degree with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is mandatory. A strong command of the English language, both spoken and written, is essential, along with experience in teaching primary-level students. While not mandatory, a valid TET or CTET certificate will be an advantage. A minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in an English-medium school, is required. The position offers a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, with the opportunity to work in a vibrant educational setting in West Tripura.
