What You Will Do
1. Plan and conduct daily dance sessions for students from Nursery to Class 12, ensuring age-appropriate content and safety.
2. Choreograph and rehearse dance routines for school events like Annual Day, Sports Day, and cultural fests in Agra.
3. Organize inter-house and inter-school dance competitions to encourage competitive spirit and creativity.
4. Collaborate with the arts department to integrate dance into school festivals and community outreach programs.
5. Maintain discipline and punctuality during dance practice sessions to instill professional habits.
6. Document student progress in dance skills and provide feedback to parents during PTMs.
7. Source costumes, props, and music for performances while staying within the allocated budget.
8. Assist the school administration in managing dance-related logistics for events and excursions.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in any discipline is required. A Diploma or Certificate in Dance from a recognized institution will be preferred. Knowledge of basic computer applications for record-keeping and communication is necessary. While B.Ed or D.El.Ed is not mandatory, exposure to school environments is beneficial.
