Role Summary

Milton Public School is seeking a qualified and experienced NTT English Teacher to join our faculty. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for teaching English to students from grades 1-8. The ideal candidate will have a strong teaching background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic classroom environment.

What You Will Do

1. Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students from grades 1-8
2. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
3. Develop and implement effective English language learning materials
4. Monitor student attendance and maintain accurate records
5. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
6. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement co-curricular activities
7. Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
8. Communicate with parents and guardians through regular updates
9. Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in English language teaching

Who Can Apply

Must Have:
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed from a recognized institution
- 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Good to Have:
- TET/CTET certification
- Experience teaching English language skills to students from diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with curriculum frameworks and educational technology

Preferred Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
