Your Students
As a PGT English Teacher at Holy Public School, you will be working with students from diverse learning levels, including those with special needs. Day-to-Day Duties
As a PGT English Teacher, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Preparing and delivering engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
- Developing and implementing differentiated instruction strategies to support students with varying learning needs
- Collaborating with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum-based projects
- Providing individualized support to students who require extra help
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Participating in parent-teacher conferences and communicating with parents about student progress
- Staying up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in English teaching
- Contributing to the development of school programs and policies related to English education
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A postgraduate degree in English (MA/MSc)
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a PGT English Teacher
- A strong understanding of inclusive pedagogy and classroom management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
