Job Overview
Johns Mary School invites fresh postgraduate degree holders in Mathematics to teach Mathematics as a PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) in our school. As a Mathematics PGT, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to students from Class VI to Class XII.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a PGT Mathematics Teacher, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Preparing and delivering lessons to students in Mathematics
- Conducting tests and exams to assess student progress
- Providing guidance and support to students outside of class
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborating with other teachers to plan and implement curriculum
- Conducting training and mentorship sessions for Mathematics teachers
- Participating in professional development programs to enhance teaching skills
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you should have:
- A postgraduate degree (B.Ed or M.Sc/Mathematics) from a recognized university
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics and teaching methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Fluency in Hindi and English is mandatory.
