PRT Art and Craft Teacher Role at Holy Public School in Sikandra, Agra

Holy Public School in Sikandra invites a dedicated PRT Art and Craft Teacher to inspire creativity and hands-on learning among students. This full-time position offers a monthly salary of Rs.16,000 to Rs.30,000, depending on qualifications and experience. With a minimum of two years of teaching experience, you’ll play a key role in shaping young minds through engaging art and craft activities.

Daily Responsibilities in Art and Craft Teaching
Your day-to-day work will focus on designing and implementing creative lessons that blend traditional and modern art techniques. You’ll prepare classroom materials, guide students through projects, and ensure they explore different mediums like painting, pottery, fabric art, and craft-based problem-solving. Observing individual progress and adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles will be part of your routine.

Teaching sessions will likely follow the school’s curriculum, which may include thematic units on cultural heritage, environmental awareness, and artistic expression. You’ll also assist in organizing extracurricular art clubs or workshops, fostering a love for creativity beyond the classroom. Simple classroom management—such as handling student queries, organizing supplies, and maintaining a safe workspace—will be essential.

Recurring Tasks
Every week, you’ll conduct structured art lessons aligned with the school’s syllabus, ensuring students grasp fundamental techniques and concepts. Collaborating with other teachers to integrate art into interdisciplinary projects will be part of your role. You’ll also document student work, taking photos or notes to track development and prepare for parent-teacher interactions.

Maintaining a well-stocked art room with materials like paints, clay, fabrics, and tools is a priority. You’ll ensure these resources are accessible and used responsibly, while also updating inventory as needed. Small group activities, individual feedback sessions, and demonstrating techniques to students will keep your lessons dynamic.

Periodic Responsibilities
Throughout the academic year, you’ll participate in school events where art and craft can be showcased, such as cultural fests or exhibitions. Preparing displays or leading demonstrations for these occasions will highlight your creativity and teaching skills. Periodically, you may assist in assessing student work for grading or project evaluations, ensuring fairness and clarity.

Teaching at Holy Public School means contributing to a nurturing environment where students grow both academically and creatively. Your passion for art and craft will inspire students to explore their own talents while following the school’s commitment to holistic education. The role offers a chance to shape young artists while enjoying a supportive and engaging work environment.
