PRT Dance Teacher Job in Agda, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
Holy Public School in Sikandra, Agra is looking for a full‑time PRT Dance Teacher to lead dance classes for primary students. The role involves planning, delivering and assessing age‑appropriate dance curriculum for children in the primary wing of the school.
Responsibilities
Design and conduct daily dance sessions for classes I to V, ensuring activities are safe, engaging and aligned with the school’s overall educational goals. Prepare lesson plans, demonstrate techniques, and provide constructive feedback to nurture students’ rhythm, coordination and confidence. Maintain attendance records, submit progress reports and coordinate occasional performances for school events.
Classroom Management
Create a disciplined yet encouraging environment where every child feels motivated to participate. Enforce school policies on punctuality, dress code and conduct during practical sessions. Supervise students during rehearsals and ensure the dance space is kept orderly and hazard‑free.
Collaboration
Work closely with senior teachers and the school’s co‑ordinator to integrate dance with other cultural activities. Participate in staff meetings, professional development programmes and school functions as required.
Qualifications and Experience
Graduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum two years of experience teaching dance at the primary level is essential. Preference will be given to candidates who have cleared TET or CTET, although it is not mandatory.
Skills
Strong knowledge of basic Indian and contemporary dance forms suitable for young learners. Ability to communicate clearly in Hindi and English, and to adapt teaching methods to varied learning abilities. Good organisational skills and a genuine interest in fostering creativity among children.
Salary
The monthly remuneration for this position ranges from Rs.16,000 to Rs.30,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Working Conditions
Full‑time employment with regular school hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for rehearsals and cultural programmes. The school provides a dedicated dance studio and necessary teaching aids.
