Role Summary
Milton Public School in Agra, Uttar Pradesh is seeking a skilled PRT Dance Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and experienced Dance teacher with a passion for teaching and mentoring students. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Dance education to students in the school.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver Dance lessons to students in classes from Nursery to Class 5.
2. Develop and implement engaging Dance curriculum that aligns with the school's educational goals.
3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
4. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school events.
6. Participate in staff development programs to improve teaching skills.
7. Maintain accurate records of student progress.
8. Attend parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
9. Support the school's extracurricular activities.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university.
- Valid TET/CTET certification (not required but preferred).
- 2 years of teaching experience in Dance.
- Strong knowledge of Dance curriculum and pedagogy.
Good to Have
- Experience teaching Dance in an Indian school setting.
- Familiarity with the Uttar Pradesh state syllabus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to teach Dance to students of various age groups and skill levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with technology-based teaching tools.
- Experience with creating engaging lesson plans and assessments.
