As a PRT English Teacher, you will utilize smart boards, Google Classroom, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to create blended learning environments. You will also be expected to integrate technology into your lessons, making them interactive and student-centric. This will involve using multimedia resources, online educational tools, and digital educational apps to engage students and promote language learning.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a PRT English Teacher at Johns Mary School, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Designing and delivering English lessons for grades 1-8.
- Using technology to create engaging and interactive lessons.
- Assessing student progress and providing feedback.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum and pedagogical materials.
- Conducting parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress.
- Maintaining records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Participating in staff development programs to stay updated on best practices.
- Developing and implementing English language learning programs for students.
- Using digital tools to track student progress and identify areas of improvement.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree.
- Teaching experience of at least 2 years.
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
Preferred Skills
- Digital literacy and experience with online teaching tools.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Google Classroom.
- Ability to integrate technology into lessons to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Rs.12,000 - Rs.20,000 per month. Other benefits include medical insurance, paid leave, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
