About This Role
What You Will Do
- Teach Sanskrit to students from Class 6 to 12, following the CBSE syllabus and curriculum.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating a range of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress, identify areas of improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives, enhancing the overall educational experience.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, keeping parents informed about student progress and discussing ways to support student growth.
- Develop and implement extracurricular activities, such as Sanskrit clubs, literary contests, and cultural events, to foster a love for the language and its rich cultural heritage.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Sanskrit language and literature, incorporating new ideas and approaches into teaching practices.
- Contribute to the development of school policies, ensuring they align with the school's vision and mission.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Post-graduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree.
- Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Sanskrit language, its grammar, and its cultural heritage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to participate in school-wide initiatives and contribute to the development of school policies.
