About This Role
As a PGT Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students of classes 9 to 12. You will need to prepare and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and provide individualized support to students who require extra help.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver Chemistry lessons to classes 9 to 12.
2. Prepare and administer assessments, quizzes, and exams.
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
4. Provide individualized support to students who require extra help.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement academic programs.
6. Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
7. Monitor student progress and report to parents/guardians as necessary.
8. Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment.
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc) with specialization in relevant area.
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. with a valid TET/CTET certificate (preferably).
- At least 4 years of experience in teaching Chemistry at a school level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
