Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct daily Physical Education classes for senior secondary students using modern teaching methods.
2. Organize and manage sports events including athletics, cricket, football, basketball, and yoga competitions.
3. Coach school teams for inter-school competitions at district and state levels.
4. Maintain sports equipment inventory and ensure all facilities are safe and functional.
5. Prepare students for CBSE sports competitions and maintain records of participation and achievements.
6. Integrate health education into PE lessons with focus on fitness, nutrition, and injury prevention.
7. Collaborate with other teachers to plan annual sports day and house competitions.
8. Supervise students during games and ensure discipline in the playground and gymnasium.
9. Submit monthly reports on student performance, attendance, and event outcomes to the school administration.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Physical Education or Sports Science with minimum 55% marks.
- B.Ed degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Physical Education at secondary or senior secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE sports curriculum and assessment patterns.
- Ability to conduct physical training sessions in Hindi and English.
Good to Have
- TET/CTET certification in Physical Education.
- Experience in coaching school teams for CBSE or state-level tournaments.
- Familiarity with sports psychology and fitness assessment tools.
- Certification in yoga or first aid training.
- Experience with inclusive sports programs for students with special needs.
