The PRT Art And Craft Teacher will design and implement age-appropriate lessons covering drawing, painting, pottery, and craft projects. Daily classroom instruction will focus on developing fine motor skills, imagination, and cultural appreciation through practical art activities. You’ll prepare engaging lesson plans that align with school curricula while adapting to diverse student abilities. Regular classroom demonstrations and student projects will showcase your expertise in guiding creative expression. Collaborate with the art department to organize school-wide art festivals, workshops, and exhibitions to celebrate student achievements. Maintain a safe and organized art studio space, ensuring all materials are well-stocked and used responsibly. Assess student progress through observations, portfolios, and periodic evaluations to provide constructive feedback. Participate in school events like parent-teacher meetings and cultural fairs to promote art as a key part of holistic education. Ensure compliance with school safety protocols while handling art materials, especially those that may pose risks to students. Work closely with the principal and art coordinator to integrate art into broader educational themes and school initiatives.
To qualify for this PRT Art And Craft Teacher position at Rising Stars International School, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree. A graduate background in arts or education is required, with at least three years of teaching experience in Art And Craft or a related subject. Experience in teaching children aged 6 to 12 years is highly preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be considered favorably. The role offers a competitive salary of Rs.10,000 to Rs.18,000 per month, along with a supportive environment in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
