PRT Dance Teacher Position at Iqra Public School, Aligarh
Iqra Public School in Aligarh seeks a dedicated PRT Dance Teacher to lead its vibrant dance program, fostering creativity and cultural expression among students. This role requires expertise in choreography, pedagogy, and engaging students through structured yet dynamic dance classes. The teacher will design age-appropriate curricula, ensuring alignment with school values while adapting techniques to diverse learning styles.
The PRT will oversee daily dance sessions, including classical, folk, and contemporary styles, while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment. Practical assessment will involve evaluating students’ technique, rhythm, and performance skills through live demonstrations, recitals, and participation in inter-school events. Collaboration with the school’s arts faculty will be essential to integrate dance with other subjects like music and physical education.
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory, with a postgraduate qualification in Dance preferred. Five years of experience in teaching dance at the school level, preferably in a PRT capacity, will be highly valued. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, a strong command over dance pedagogy and teaching methods will be beneficial.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of Rs.15,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, along with the opportunity to shape young minds in Aligarh’s dynamic educational landscape.
