Rising Stars International School in Aligarh is seeking a dedicated PRT Dance Teacher to inspire creativity and rhythm among students. This role focuses on teaching dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kathak, or contemporary styles, blending cultural heritage with modern techniques. The position is ideal for someone passionate about nurturing artistic expression through structured yet engaging lessons. With a focus on holistic development, the PRT Dance Teacher will play a key role in shaping students’ confidence and discipline.
The PRT Dance Teacher will design and deliver age-appropriate dance classes, ensuring alignment with school curriculum goals. Daily lessons will include warm-ups, choreography, and performance practice, with an emphasis on safety and proper technique. The teacher will also mentor students in group projects, cultural festivals, and inter-school competitions, fostering teamwork and creativity. Collaboration with other faculty members will ensure cohesive artistic integration across the school’s programs.
Candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least three years of relevant teaching experience in dance education. A graduate degree in dance or a related field is preferred, though not mandatory. Experience in teaching children aged 6 to 12 is highly valued, as this aligns with Rising Stars International School’s student demographic. While TET/CTET certification is not strictly required, it will be considered favorably for qualified candidates.
This is a full-time PRT Dance Teacher position offering a competitive salary of Rs.10,000 to Rs.18,000 per month.
