Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching dance at the primary level.
Salary
Rs.13,000 - Rs.22,000 per month
Qualifications
Graduate with B.Ed or D.El.Ed; TET/CTET preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons for primary students in accordance with the school curriculum.
2. Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to improve students’ rhythm, coordination and expression.
3. Organise and supervise school cultural events, annual day performances and inter‑school dance competitions.
4. Maintain classroom discipline while fostering a safe and supportive environment for creative expression.
5. Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate dance with other subjects for holistic learning.
6. Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids and visual materials that reflect local cultural themes.
7. Keep records of attendance, progress reports and parent communication regarding student performance.
8. Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops and school functions as required.
Desired Profile
Candidates should have a genuine passion for dance, good communication skills in Hindi and English, and the ability to inspire young learners. Prior experience in a school setting, especially handling classes in Aligarh or nearby districts, will be an advantage.
