Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop lesson plans that integrate real-world examples of environmental science, conservation, and ecological awareness. Collaborate with other teachers to design cross-curricular projects that enhance EVS learning. Assess student understanding through quizzes, projects, and practical evaluations. Participate in school-wide events promoting environmental consciousness.
Periodic Responsibilities
Attend training sessions to update teaching methods and curriculum alignment with national standards. Organize EVS club activities or workshops to encourage extracurricular learning. Review and update teaching resources like workbooks, posters, and digital content as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a post-graduate qualification in Environmental Studies or related subjects. Minimum five years of teaching experience, preferably in EVS or science-related subjects. Experience with TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory. Must possess a valid teaching license and a clean conduct certificate.
