PRT Evs Teacher Job in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh | School Recruitment
Rising Stars International School in Aligarh is seeking a dedicated PRT Evs Teacher to join its dynamic classroom environment. This role focuses on delivering engaging and curriculum-aligned Environmental Studies (Evs) lessons, fostering students’ awareness of sustainability, biodiversity, and eco-friendly practices. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for hands-on, experiential learning, especially in Aligarh’s diverse cultural and natural surroundings. The position emphasizes practical activities like gardening, waste management workshops, and field trips to local parks or farms. The PRT Evs Teacher will design and implement daily Evs activities that align with school syllabi while encouraging critical thinking. This includes planning interactive lessons on topics like renewable energy, pollution control, and conservation of local flora and fauna. The teacher will also organize extracurricular events such as tree-planting drives, science fairs, and awareness campaigns for parents and students. Collaboration with other teachers and school management to integrate environmental themes into interdisciplinary projects is essential. Field trips to nearby natural reserves or educational farms will be part of the routine, requiring careful planning and logistical coordination.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this role. Candidates with a background in science or environmental studies are preferred, though relevant teaching experience is more critical. Three years of teaching experience, particularly in schools with a focus on science or environmental education, will be highly valued. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, a valid teaching certificate would be an asset. The role demands creativity in lesson planning, strong communication skills, and a commitment to making environmental education accessible and exciting for students.
