Job Overview
Delhi World Public School is looking for a dedicated Sports Teacher to manage and lead sports activities at our Kher campus. The role involves planning, organizing, and supervising sports programs for students from Classes 1 to 12. This position is part of our ongoing Sports Teacher Recruitment in Uttar Pradesh to strengthen physical education and competitive sports.
What You Will Do
1. Design and implement daily sports schedules and seasonal training plans for various games like cricket, football, badminton, and athletics.
2. Conduct regular fitness assessments and skill development sessions for students in alignment with school sports goals.
3. Organize inter-house and inter-school sports competitions, ensuring smooth execution and adherence to safety protocols.
4. Coordinate with ground staff for maintenance of sports infrastructure including fields, courts, and equipment.
5. Monitor student participation and performance, maintaining records for talent identification and reporting to management.
6. Collaborate with class teachers and coordinators to integrate sports into the overall student development plan.
7. Lead morning assembly warm-ups and ensure all students are engaged in physical activities during PE periods.
8. Represent Delhi World Public School at district and state-level sports meets and competitions.
Who Can Apply
Postgraduate in Physical Education or Sports Science from a recognized university is required. Minimum 2 years of experience in school or institutional sports administration is necessary. Candidates must be proficient in basic computer operations for maintaining records and communication. Familiarity with sports management software will be an added advantage.
What Makes You a Fit
Experience in organizing sports events for large student groups is essential. Knowledge of NIS or SAI coaching certification is preferred. Strong leadership in motivating students and managing teams under time constraints is expected. Ability to work independently while reporting progress to senior management is required.
Salary and Benefits
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs.22,000 to Rs.45,000 based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include PF contribution, health insurance, and access to school sports facilities.
