Your role as a TGT English Teacher in Aligarh will include teaching core English subjects like grammar, literature, and composition across Class 6 to 12. You’ll design engaging lesson plans that align with CBSE curriculum while incorporating modern teaching methods. Conducting weekly grammar workshops and creative writing sessions will keep students motivated. Organizing cultural fests, literary clubs, and inter-house competitions will foster a love for the language. Collaborating with the principal and other teachers to refine teaching strategies is also part of your duties. Assessing student progress through continuous evaluation and providing constructive feedback will ensure growth. Preparing and delivering online classes, if needed, will keep your skills adaptable.
A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, with a postgraduate degree in English or related field preferred. Strong digital literacy is essential—you should be comfortable using educational software, online platforms, and multimedia tools. Proficiency in English grammar, vocabulary, and public speaking is non-negotiable. Creativity, patience, and adaptability are key traits for a classroom that values innovation. Experience in co-curricular activities and familiarity with inclusive education practices would be an asset.
You’ll be paid Rs.20,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, along with standard benefits like transport allowance and professional development opportunities.
