Job Overview
Shri Ram Modern Academy is seeking a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty in Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. We are looking for an experienced and passionate teacher who can deliver engaging Mathematics lessons to our students and contribute to the growth of our institution.
Pedagogy and Tools
As a Mathematics teacher at Shri Ram Modern Academy, you will be expected to use practical methods, tools, and lab work to make complex mathematical concepts accessible to our students. You will be familiar with the use of visual aids, interactive whiteboards, and other educational technology to enhance student engagement and understanding.
What You Will Do
- Teach Mathematics to classes 9 to 12, using the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) curriculum and our school's academic policies.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students, including those with learning difficulties and exceptional abilities.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Develop and implement innovative Mathematics projects and activities to promote student engagement and creativity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives and events related to Mathematics education.
- Provide guidance and support to students outside of class, including during lunch breaks and after school.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide decisions related to Mathematics education.
- Maintain accurate records of student grades, attendance, and progress.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on the latest Mathematics teaching methods and technologies.
Required Qualifications
- A postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field from a recognized university.
- A Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or a related field from a recognized university.
- A valid B.Ed or D.El.Ed certification.
- A preference for candidates with CTET or TET certification.
