About This Role
The TGT Hindi Teacher will plan, teach and assess Hindi language and literature to students in grades 6-8 at Shri Ram Modern Academy. You will create an engaging classroom environment that builds confidence in spoken and written Hindi. Your role includes mentoring students and collaborating with subject teachers to strengthen the Hindi curriculum.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Prepare lesson plans aligned with CBSE Hindi syllabus and Shri Ram Modern Academy curriculum.
2. Conduct daily Hindi classes using stories, poems and grammar exercises suited to middle school.
3. Evaluate notebooks and assignments with timely feedback on language accuracy and expression.
4. Organize Hindi recitation, debate and writing competitions within school events.
5. Conduct periodic assessments to track Hindi proficiency among students.
6. Participate in PTMs and counsel parents on student progress in Hindi.
7. Maintain classroom discipline and ensure students follow Hindi usage norms.
8. Support Hindi department in creating visual aids, charts and low-cost teaching materials.
9. Assist in Hindi language day celebrations and cultural programs organized by the school.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Hindi (MA Hindi)
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed with Hindi specialization
- Minimum 3 years of teaching Hindi in a secondary school
- Fluency in spoken and written Hindi
- Familiarity with CBSE Hindi textbooks and question paper patterns
Good to Have
- CTET qualified
- Experience in teaching Hindi as a second language
- Knowledge of Hindi grammar and literature beyond school syllabus
- Experience with digital tools for Hindi teaching
- Participation in Hindi language workshops or seminars
