Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan and deliver Social Science lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum for classes 6 to 10.
2. Prepare monthly and weekly lesson plans as per school academic calendar.
3. Conduct regular class tests, assignments, and periodic assessments in Social Science.
4. Maintain accurate attendance registers, lesson diaries, and assessment records.
5. Organize co-curricular activities like debates, quizzes, and field trips related to Social Science.
6. Prepare students for board exams and ensure syllabus completion on schedule.
7. Use teaching aids such as maps, charts, and digital content to enhance learning.
8. Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, and school events as required.
9. Provide remedial teaching for students needing extra support in Social Science.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Post-graduation in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics)
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Social Science at secondary level
- Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of local dialect preferred
- Eligibility for TGT Social Science Teacher in Uttar Pradesh
Good to Have
- CTET or TET qualified
- Experience with CBSE-affiliated schools
